What is a webinar?

A webinar is an online meeting which delegates can attend by dialing in online using a desktop computer, laptop or mobile device.

How do the webinars work?

Each webinar (which you will need a pc/laptop/tablet with sound capability, and an internet connection to access) will last between 30 - 60 minutes depending on the topic. Please see each webinar's information page for the length.

During some live webinars there will be the opportunity to ask questions. We aim to answer the most asked questions during the webinar.

If you cannot attend the webinar the recording will be available afterwards to replay at your convenience via the FSRH website.

How do I join a webinar from a Mac or PC?

Joining is easy and just takes a few seconds:

Simply click the link in the confirmation email. You’ll proceed to the webinar immediately.

If you are attending a webinar for your first time, you may be prompted to install a small piece of software. If this is the case please follow the instruction that appear.

How do I join a webinar from a mobile device?

First download the free GoToMeeting app on the App Store, Google Play or Windows store.

Once installed, it’s much like joining from a computer. Simply click the link in your confirmation email.

I can’t attend the webinar. Is there a way I can watch it later?

Please login to the members' area of the FSRH website to view the webinars on demand by clicking on the My Webinars tile.

The webinar I want to view is not on the list of available videos

We have a 7-working day period before we will post a webinar after it has been given to a live audience. If you registered for the webinar, you will be sent an email when the recording is available, but please check back regularly.

I paid for webinar access and I missed the live webinar because of a meeting/emergency/I forgot it/etc. Can I get a refund or credit?

We do not issue refunds for missed webinars that have been purchased; however, you may be eligible for a webinar credit if the webinar will not be available for later viewing on the FSRH webinar portal. Please email info@fsrh.org with your request.

I applied for FSRH membership, but the system won’t allow me to register.

If your payment has not been processed as yet, you might not be able to register. Please contact the FSRH via info@fsrh.org explaining the issues and they will help you.

Can I get a copy of the PowerPoint slides used in the webinar?

Unfortunately we do not offer PowerPoint slides.

How can I get information on future webinars?

Future webinars are posted on the FSRH webinar portal as soon as they are scheduled and are also announced via emails to our members.

Will I receive a certificate for attending a webinar? And for watching the archived recording?

Certificates of attendance are offered for live webinars, if you watch for a certain period (the time of which will be communicated in the promotional text for the webinar). We don’t currently offer certificates of attendance for on demand webinars.

I am an FSRH member; how do I register

Please log in to your FSRH member account via https://www.fsrh.org/my-fsrh/

Click on the ‘My Webinars’ tile, where there will be links to register for all upcoming webinars.

If you are awaiting approval for a new FSRH Membership and the webinar is within 48 hours, please contact FSRH to benefit from free webinar access

I am a non-member; how do I register?

Go to www.events4healthcare.com/fsrh/webinars/upcoming-webinars/ and select the webinar from the list. Register as a non-member, enter your details and you will be taken to the payment section. Once payment is complete you will be asked to fill out your details for the webinar registration, once finished you will receive a confirmation email including joining instructions.

How much do the Webinars cost?

FSRH members can attend and view all webinars for free.

Non FSRH member, GMC registered - £30 to participate or to download after the event.
Non FSRH member, not GMC registered - £10 to participate or to download after the event.
Commercial rate - £199 to participate or to download after the event.

I didn’t receive my confirmation email with joining instructions

If you haven’t received notifications from either the Online Training Coordinator or GoToMeeting, please email sharon@e4h.co.uk, at least two days in advance of the webinar. Make sure you reference which webinar you are trying to attend.

How can I ask a question?

Once connected, there is a feature on your control panel that will allow you to type a question. The presenter will respond to questions as time allows. As many questions as possible will be answered during the Question and Answer period scheduled as part of each webinar.

No sound

If you are unable to hear anything once the webinar has begun, please check the volume settings of your computer, laptop or mobile device. If you are using a headset, headphones or speakers you should also check that the volume is turned up on this device.

Can’t Connect or connection dropping

Please check your internet connection. It is recommended to use a hard-wired internet or stable Wi-Fi connection.
